The child remained asymptomatic and without medication. A recent echocardiogram showed that the ventricular septal defect was only 4 mm in diameter, next to the obstructive defect. On physical examination she was eupneic, with normal pulses, body weight of 14 kg, heart

Congenitally corrected transposition of great vessels with infundibular pulmonary stenosis with ventricular septal defect, presenting with atypical atrioventricular nodal reentrant tachycardia: a rare association

Congenitally corrected transposition of great vessels (CCTGV) is a rare congenital heart disease (CHD) accounting for <1% of CHDs. CCTGV with infundibular pulmonary stenosis (PS) with ventricular septal defect (VSD) is part of Fallot's physiology. It is known to be associated with bradyarrhythmias like atrioventricular (AV) blocks, and acquired complete AV block occurs at a rate of 2% per year....

Isolated Left Ventricular Apical Hypoplasia with Infundibular Pulmonary and Aortic Stenosis: a Rare Combination

Isolated left ventricular (LV) apical hypoplasia is a rare congenital cardiac anomaly which is not accompanied by other cardiac abnormalities, with the exception of two cases. We report a case of a 33-year-old male patient with isolated LV apical hypoplasia combined with infundibular pulmonary stenosis and aortic stenosis. We review a literature focusing on the characteristic magnetic resonance...

Congenital pulmonary valvular and infundibular stenosis complicating Ebstein's anomaly of the tricuspid valve. A case report.

Clinical, hemodynamic, angiographic, and echocardiographic as well as operative findings of a 19 years old girl are presented who had the unique combination of severe pulmonary valvular and infundibular stenosis with Ebstein's anomaly of the tricuspid valve. Pulmonary stenosis was relieved by infundibular resection and valvotomy. The atrial septal defect was closed with plication of atrialized ...

Regression after open valvotomy of infundibular stenosis accompanying severe valvular pulmonic stenosis.

Three patients operated upon under hypothermia for severe valvular pulmonic stenosis had right ventricular pressures in excess of 100 mm. Hg after open valvotomy. The residual obstruction, localized by pressure measurements to the subvalvular region, appeared to be due to greatly hypertrophied musculature in the outflow tract of the ventricle. Infundibular resection was not attempted. Electroca...

Critical pulmonary stenosis with a diminutive right ventricle in neonates.

Thirteen of 19 neonates seen in the first months of life with critical pulmonary stenosis (PS) and an intact ventricular septum had a diminutive right ventricle (RV) evidenced by electrocardiographic and angiocardiographic criteria. All were critically ill and at catheterization had hypoxemia secondary to right-to-left shunting at the atrial level, and RV hypertension. Right ventricular angiogr...
